Beautiful Weekend for Hiking

First time to the Kennebec site. Have been to the Penobscot site several times for outstanding white water rafting. The Kennebec site was beautiful. Did not go rafting this time, but did go hiking on several spectacular trails including Mosquito Mountain and Mount Kineo, instead. Both highly recommended. Previously broken arm precluded the more strenuous activities. The Northern Outdoors site was great. Stayed in a small cabin with a porch…extremely comfortable. The Lodge had cold beer and great food. Staff was super friendly. Will definitely do it again.
