The locations of our adventure resort did not happen by accident. The Forks Resort Center, Eagle Cove Condominiums, and The Penobscot Outdoor Center are located just a few miles from the take-outs of the Kennebec, Dead, and Penobscot rivers specifically to serve our rafting guests. When you raft with Northern Outdoors there’s no extended bus ride sitting in a wetsuit on a school bus as you ride 20 miles or more back to Bingham, Jackman or Greenville, at the end of your trip you will never be more than 5-miles back to a hot shower, dry clothes, cold soda pop, or cold Kennebec River microbrew.

As the seasons change The Forks Resort Center is conveniently located at the heart of snowmobile country within a comfortable ride of Greenville, Jackman and Coburn Mountain, Maine’s highest elevation groomed snowmobile trail. You can ride directly from your cabin door to access over 13000 miles of Maine’s famous snowmobiling trails.
