Description	Starting at Northern Outdoors lodge you will be shuttled to the NEW Route 201 Trailhead in The Forks, from where you will hike 14+ miles along the scenic Dead River Valley to Maine Huts & Trails Grand Falls Hut. Enjoy a home cooked dinner served family style at the hut and then the quiet comfort at the hut, or take a short stroll down to the Dead River. You'll get to stay overnight in the eco-friendly hut and wake up to a hearty breakfast. Your whitewater raft guide will meet you at the hut and outfit you for your trip on the Dead River. Then it’s off to raft 14 miles of the Class IV Dead River. After rafting you’ll enjoy a bar-b-que cookout at Northern Outdoors Adventure Resort in The Forks where your car will be waiting for you.You can also choose to add an extra night of lodging at Northern Outdoors and enjoy the giant outdoor hot tub, the Kennebec River Pub & Brewery and live music in the main lodge.

This 4-day, 4-night package utilizes the new Maine Huts & Trails system of first class hiking trails and comfortable back-country lodges. Enjoy a hot shower, delicious home-cooked meals, and good night's rest on a comfortable bed at the end of each day. A classic Maine wilderness hike in style!
