We have received nearly a foot of snow in the past week. Conditions on our trail system have improved dramatically with the new snow. Cold temperatures have locked up any standing or running water, and the groomers have been out and able to pull snow into most of the trouble spots. Should be a good weekend of riding coming up.
We received 3” of snow yesterday, with a little sleet and rain on top. This will certainly help with track lubrication, as well as helping to improve conditions. There is limited riding on The Forks Trail System. Read on for more.
The rainstorm and warm temperatures that we had at the end of last week left our trails in rough shape. Temps have cooled off well below freezing, so water is getting locked up again. Read on for full trail report.
With daytime temps in the high 40’s and night time temps in the low teens we’ve been able to continue grooming operations by night and enjoy comfortable riding conditions during the day. We groomed the entire trail system Monday night and it is in generally good shape! If weather permits we will groom Friday and Saturday nights. There’s still plenty of riding to be had once you get out from the trailheads and in-town access points… Enjoy the last few days of the season, we will be closing the lodge after lunch on Sunday, April 1st.
Welcome to the first day of spring and some of the best late season snowmobiling we’ve seen in years! Plenty of snow, cold temps at night allows great grooming and setup, and moderate temps during the day for comfortable riding. We groomed the entire trail system Monday night and it is in great condition! We will be grooming Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
