The Forks Resort- Cabin Tents: Kennebec River Campground
Sleeps up to 2-4 Located in our campground along the Kennebec River, our cabin tents provide economical yet comfortable wilderness accommodations, without the usual hassles associated with camping.
- These large, bright, airy tents are suitable for 2 or 4 people, and feature a wooden floor, screen door, electric lighting, and single beds with foam mattresses.
- You will need to bring a sleeping bag or bedding.
- A fire ring and picnic table are provided at each site.
The Forks Resort- Campsites: Kennebec River Campground
Our Kennebec River Campground offers a selection of well-kept, wooded campsites, all served by spacious, clean, modern restrooms and showers. Perfect for budget rafting vacations!- A fire ring and picnic table are provided at each site.
- Individual and group sites are available.
- RV sites are also available.
Penobscot Outdoor Center - Cabin Tents

Wilderness Adventure Camp – For Families and Adults
You are totally cared for in our deluxe wilderness camping getaway. Enjoy a relaxing day exploring the beauty, scenery and wildlife of Indian Pond, a 9-mile long wilderness lake rich in logging history. You’ll camp in comfortable platform tents along the lake’s shore and fall asleep to a star-filled sky and the sound of waves gently lapping at the shore. You’ll awake to the aroma of fresh coffee, a hearty breakfast, and loons crying in the distance. We offer Adults-Only Wilderness Camp and Families-Only Wilderness Camp experiences.
