Welcome to the Kennebec River Pub and Brewery at Northern Outdoors. Our menu is inspired by the flavors found in our craft beers. We take great pride in our from-scratch kitchen which utilizes the freshest ingredients available. Our fried food is hand -battered and all of our chicken and haddock is marinated in fresh KRB lager. We proudly support local businesses by featuring Pineland Farms Maine-raised all natural beef burgers, fresh Backyard Farms tomatoes, locally baked buns and Maine- roasted Carrabassett Coffee. A light bodied, well carbonated Belgian white ale brewed with curacao orange peel and coriander. Traditionally hazy and served with a slice of orange.
An amber ale named after the biggest wave on the Kennebec River. Natural blueberry flavor is added at kegging for a great fruity aroma! This is a well-carbonated summer favorite with light malt flavor and a nice crisp finish.
An incredibly smooth red ale with moderate bitterness up front, which gives way to a delightfully malty finish.
Our flagship ale, this was our first brew ever made in 1997. This copper-colored, American-style India pale ale is crafted with abundant amounts of North American malted barley for a full malt flavor. The aggressive bitter bite comes from a generous infusion of Magnum hops, with late additions of Columbus and Summit adding abundant hop flavor and aroma. Dry hopping with Summit adds to the big hop aroma on this brew.

Our interpretation of an American lager (think Miller, Coors, Bud). Light, crisp and less filling, this is the right choice for those new to microbrews.
