Appropriate riding gear is required when renting a snowmobile. Riding clothing, including jacket, pants, boots, and mittens are available to rent for those who are renting snowmobiles. Helmets are included in your rental. Our on-site retail store is generally stocked with different style gloves, neck warmers, hats, balaclavas, and hand and toe warmers.
Full-day tours include a customized tour plan based on your group members’ experience and include a stop for lunch. The cost of lunch is not included in the tour price.

Northern Outdoors has teamed up with Tea Pond Lodge & Cabins in Eustis, Maine to offer a three-night, two-day lodge-to-lodge snowmobile package. The tour rides approx 75 miles from The Forks to the town of Eustis through Maine’s beautiful lakes and mountains (see photos of the snowmobile trail) and then back the next day. This self-guided package, aimed at experienced riders, includes one-night lodging at Tea Pond Cabins, bookended by two nights lodging at Northern Outdoors Adventure Resort with all its amenities. Snowmobile rentals and a Registered Maine Guide are available at additional cost for this tour.
