What do you enjoy most about working at Northern Outdoors?
I love living and working in the Maine woods, and being surrounded by beautiful rivers, mountains, and wildlife.
What is your favorite river to guide, and your favorite rapid on that river?
My favorite river is the Penobscot, and my favorite rapids are the cribworks and surfing chester hole!
Where do you adventure when you are not working?
I adventure all over Maine. I love Baxter State Park and the Penobscot Bay and Merrymeeting Bay regions for sea kayaking.
What do you do in the off-season when you’re not guiding for Northern Outdoors?
In the off season I ski at Sugarloaf and work at a bakery in Portland.
What rivers have you run outside of Maine?
In April of 2024 I was lucky enough to go on a rafting trip down the Grand Canyon for 22 days.
