Specials & What’s Happening

Looking ahead to Snowmobile Season

December has arrived with a coating of snow on the ground. Temperatures are forecast to be cold the next couple of weeks which will help to freeze up the streams, rivers and lakes and then we’ll be looking ahead to snowmobile season.

The lodge is closed briefly from December 1st through December 29th when we kick-off snowmobile season and follow up with a fun New Years Eve party to ring in 2017.

Kennebec River

Ah, beer. Nothing quite captures an adventure vacation like a delicious beer. Even better when it’s a handcrafted Maine microbrew. And what about sipping one right after a day on the river or trails? Our brewery is so good, it’s even part of the Maine Beer Trail. Appetizers available and live music on the weekends.

Our Heritage

It takes a lot of guts to pioneer Maine white water rafting on not one, but three Maine rivers, the Kennebec, Penobscot and Dead. And how about especially rafting back in 1976 when the Kennebec was still a log run for the paper industry?! But we simply had to be the first explorers to raft it! We still can’t resist the Kennebec or our other rivers and outdoor adventures. We love nothing better than to show you a very, very good time. And we’ve been doing just that for now 40 years!
