Abol Campground and Penobscot Rafting

The campground at Abol Bridge (now at Big Moose Inn) was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. It is by far one of the most beautiful places in Maine and the perfect place to camp out before a day rafting the Penobscot. Our guides Matt and Todd were awesome! The rapids were wild, surfing the rapids was amazing!!! We can’t wait till our next adventure and hope to run the Dead River someday soon. I recommend Northern Outdoors to anyone who asks about our whitewater rafting trips and wouldn’t think of going with any other company.
