In the heart of winter the waterfall transforms itself into a staircase of crystalline ice flows that is sure to inspire awe in even the most traveled riders. On the snowmobile trail there from Northernโ€™s base lodge, scenic vistas include the Kennebec River, the Dead River, and the uniquely gorgeous Granny-Cap Mountain.

At 3,717 feet, Coburn Mountain is the highest groomed snowmobile trail in Maine. It has become a northeast snowmobiling bucket list item. It’s our local sled peak and one of our top recommendations for experienced riders!
